Newport Castle features medium to large format square and rectangular pieces with some irregularity. It has dark grey to black pieces that often have a slight shimmer. It often contains a small percentage of subtle brown stones. It is typically installed with a mortar joint, but it may be installed in a dry-stacked style with additional cutting and fitting.
